About Cheri Frady, Private Yoga Teacher
Cheri is a private yoga teacher. She also currently teaches classes at Yoga Moves as well as Perkins and Bay Point Elementary for the faculty. She volunteers at the VA, teaching disabled veterans / working with PTS veterans, and is available for private yoga sessions.
Cheri’s style is intuitive and nourishes the hidden strengths of her students while challenging them to reach beyond their perceived limitations. You will leave her classes feeling enlivened and renewed.
Cheri continues to train with Iyengar teachers Karin Stephan, Denise Glueck and Larissa Carlson; and has studied with Lilas, Roger Cole, Mukti and various other masterful teachers. This ongoing process of learning provides fresh insights that inspire her teaching.
Cheri Frady Background
Yoga has been a part of Cheri’s life for over 40 years. She became serious about it 10 years ago when exploring natural ways to treat her pain from rheumatoid arthritis. She completed her 200-Hour Teacher Training at The Lotus Pond in 2007 and finished the 300-Hour program in 2014, also at The Lotus Pond. Her teaching style is influenced by the Iyengar method, with emphasis on detail, breath and alignment. This is done by breaking down the yoga poses and adapting them to fit each individual; to help them relieve pain and build a stronger more balanced body.
